The Customer Service qualifications are available at Level 2 and Level 3, and are also available as an Intermediate or Advanced Apprenticeship programme.

Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service and Intermediate Apprenticeship

Entry Requirements

  • You need to be working in a customer service role for a minimum of 16 hours per week.

  • You must be at least 16 years old.

  • You do not need to hold a Level 1 in Customer Service before starting the Level 2 qualification.

  • You do not need to hold GCSEs.

Key Facts

  • The aim of this qualification is give you the initial knowledge and experience to work in a customer service role. You do not need to have any previous experience, and you will gain the skills required to thrive in the work environment, including knowledge of the practices, legislation and procedures required in a variety of customer service roles.

  • Upon achievement of this qualification, you can progress to the Level 3 Diploma qualification with the confidence and experience to excel.

  • This qualification is delivered online using the Laser® learning programme. You will be assigned to a personal tutor for the duration of the qualification and will be visited in the workplace for practical observation.

  • This qualification takes up to 12 months to complete, or a minimum of 366 days as part of an Apprenticeship programme.

Course Costs

  • Apprenticeship qualifications are of no cost to you. Please speak to our Enrolment Team about your funding eligibility.

  • If you do not wish to do an Apprenticeship, the cost of the course is £1,500. This cost includes everything you need, including: registration with the awarding body, your learning programme, your personal tutor, and certification.

  • The cost of the course can be paid in one go, or using our interest free monthly payment plan. Our payment plan requires an initial deposit of £200.

Level 3 Diploma in Customer Service and Advanced Apprenticeship

Entry Requirements

  • You need to be working in a customer service role for a minimum of 16 hours per week.
  • You must be at least 16 years old.
  • You do not need to hold a Level 2 in Customer Service before starting the Level 3 qualification.
  • You do not need to hold GCSEs.

  • The aim of this qualification is to build on the knowledge and experience you have previously gained in your care role. This level of qualification is suitable for those already working in, or working towards supervisory and management roles.

  • Upon achievement of this qualification, you can progress into numerous care job roles in the statutory, voluntary or private sectors. Holding a Level 3 Customer Service qualification will enhance your career prospects within the sector.

  • This qualification is delivered online using the Laser® learning programme. You will be assigned to a personal tutor for the duration of the qualification and will be visited in the workplace for practical observation.

  • This qualification takes up to 12 months to complete, or a minimum of 366 days as part of an Apprenticeship programme.
